The textbook on stories should be historically correct first of all – the treatment of domestic and world history cannot vary with change of the president or the Minister of Education, cannot and should not depend on personal tastes, complexes and phobias of any official. It was declared by Minister of Education.
As informs Party of Regions, considers that the textbook should be filled with the facts conclusive (if, of course, to be guided by positions of the civilised European, instead of the representative “small, but proud”, the tribe mislaid in mountains).
In particular, the Minister has specified, in section of history of Europe of middle ХХ of century the textbook should help to the teacher to explain to pupils, than the Great Patriotic War differed from the Second world, what coalitions took part in war and what were their purposes where took place lines of fronts who when to whom and for what reason war declared who is recognised by the world an aggressor who at whom accepted capitulation. “Probably, after all this material will be qualitatively acquired by the pupil, it will not have any problems with identification so persons of Stalin exciting a today’s society and Bandery with Shuhevichem”, – has underlined.
